The Cluj Metro Project is Romania's first metro system, designed to alleviate the city's severe traffic congestion and support sustainable urban development in Cluj-Napoca, one of the fastest-growing cities in the country. With the city's population rapidly, the metro system will pay a vital role in enhancing urban mobility, reducing carbon emissions, and fostering economic growth through improved regional connectivity.

For this project, Unicrane has supplied 10 sets of tunnel segment molds with the specification OD 6.1m × 1.5m × 0.3m (5+1P/R). This collaboration marks a significant milestone in Unicrane's involvement in transformative urban infrastructure and supports Romania's shift towards more sustainable public transport solutions.
