The Fortezza Project is a key part of Italy's ongoing railway infrastructure development, focusing on the Fortezza-Ponte Gardena high-capacity railway line, which connects to the Brenner Base Tunnel. This project aims to enhance the efficiency and capacity of the rail system, strengthening the connection between Italy and Austria and supporting the larger Munich-Verona railway axis.
The Fortezza Project is intergral to improving connectivity within Italy and across Europe, supporting sustainable mobility and reducing travel times while constructing to the expansion of high-speed rail services in the region.
For this project, Unicrane has supplied 3 sets of universal ring molds with the specification OD 10.7m × 1.8m × 0.4m (7+1P/R). These molds are essential for producing high-quality tunnel segments that meet stringent engineering and safty standards required for such a critical transport project.
