The Delhi–Meerut Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) is a landmark semi-high-speed rail project aimed at significantly improving connectivity between Delhi, Ghaziabad, and Meerut within India’s National Capital Region (NCR). With a total length of 82 km, this system is designed to reduce the travel time between Delhi and Meerut to under one hour, promoting faster, more sustainable commuting. The project is a critical element of India’s broader transportation infrastructure development, ensuring better urban mobility and regional growth.
Unicrane has been entrusted with supplying 11 sets of universal ring molds (OD 7.25m x 1.5m x 0.3m, 7p/r) for the construction of the RRTS tunnels. These molds play a crucial role in producing durable and high-quality tunnel segments that will form the backbone of the underground sections of the RRTS. The molds ensure the tunnels meet rigorous safety standards and are capable of withstanding the operational demands of a modern, high-speed transit system.
