The Podłęże–Piekiełko railway project (Podłęże - Gdów section) is located in the Małopolskie region of Poland and is a key component of one of the country's most ambitious national rail modernization initiatives. The Podłęże-Gdów section includes the construction of 17.5km of new electrified double-track railway and two parallel railway tunnels of approximately 900m each. It plays a vital role in enhancing regional mobility, improving rapid connectivity between Kraków and southern Poland, and supporting sustainable transportation in alignment with the Trans-European Transport Network (TEN-T) standards.
For this project, Unicrane has designed and supplied 4 sets of tunnel segment molds with the specification OD10.6m × 0.4m × 1.6m (6+1P/R). This cooperation demonstrates our strong expertise in delivering highly precise and reliable mold solutions for complex, large-diameter railway infrastructure projects and further establishes our strategic presence in the Polish and broader European markets.
