Salerno-Reggio Calabria High-Speed Railway Lot 1A (Battipaglia-Romagnano) is undertaken by Webuild as part of Italy’s strategic north-south high-speed corridor. The project will deliver around 35 km of new high-speed railway, including significant tunnel works, to improve connectivity and cut travel times across southern Italy.

For this project, Unicrane has already supplied multiple sets of large-diameter segment molds. In 2025, Webuild placed a repeat order for 1 additional set of tunnel segment mold with the specification OD 13.0 m × 2.2 m × 0.5 m (8P/R). This renewal highlights the client’s recognition of Unicrane’s product quality and reliability, and further strengthens our long-term partnership in Italy’s high-speed rail sector.
