The Trunk Road T2 Project is a critical infrasturtcure development forming part of Hong Kong's Route 6, connecting the Central Kowloon Route (CKR) to the Tseung Kwan O-Lam Tin Tunnel (TKO-LTT). The road aims to provide a strategic east-west express link, significantly alleviating congestion in Kowloon and Tseung Kwan O, thus reducing travel times and enhancing regional connectivity. The project, which began in 2019, is expected to be completed in 2016, with a focus on creating a high-speed corridor for the city's future development.

For this project, Unicrane has supplied 5 sets of universal ring molds (OD 13.5m x 2.2m x 0.5m, 9p/r) for the production of durable, high-quality tunnel segments for this ambitious project. These molds are integral to ensuring the structural integrity and long-term performance of the tunnels, helping to support Hong Kong’s expanding infrastructure and the regional development plans for key districts such as West Kowloon and Tseung Kwan O New Town.
